As a self-described “culinary village,” The Shanty has grown into much more than the pub it was founded to be in 2006. In the last decade the venue has gone through two expansions and now includes a 50-seat bar, 100-seat surrounding bar area (the largest bar seating capacity in Lake County, Illinois), 24-seat wine room, 40-seat balcony, 24-seat outdoor deck, 200-seat private event space, and a private event showroom.

The results: The Shanty engaged Crossroads to supply them with tables, chairs and barstools for their upgraded bar seating, restaurant dining, wine room and private event space. The venue’s leadership places a strong emphasis on supporting local businesses, so all raw materials were sourced from the area and were manufactured by both Trendler and Chicago Booth. The Shanty remains an ongoing client for Crossroads, and we continue to address any furniture needs that might arise.
