Located in rural Holmes County, Ohio since 1973, Hochstetler Wood produces a wide variety of building materials and furniture components — and through its HW Chair division, high-quality wood furniture for the hospitality marketplace. This family-owned company, now operated by third‑generation brothers, owns and operates its own tree farms and mill facilities to assure a consistency of lumber quality that cannot be matched by offshore locations — as well as short lead times. 

Hochstetler’s three facilities combine high-tech CNC equipment with the skills of old‑world craftspeople, many of whom have worked for HW Chair for decades. Hand‑finishing with manual tools adds a mark of excellence to their solid wood dining chairs, tables and other commercial seating products.
